Our Founder: David Feinstein
Americans for Financial Independence (AFI)
was founded in 1997 by Dr. David Feinstein, who
graduated the New York College of Podiatric Medicine
in 1983. After practicing podiatry for over 10
years, Dr. Feinstein had to retire due to a neck
injury. As a patient and a physician, he came to
understand both sides of the medical insurance
issues facing today’s businesses and families.
